It was last Spring that Disney reportedly resumed business with its slate of Russian-language productions seven years since The Book Of Masters in 2009. The revived effort has since brought us to Dmitry Dyachenko's newest venture, The Last Knight, slated for an October 19 release, and in the good spirit of playing catch-up, both the second official trailer are now available as is the first one from May.
Ivan is an ordinary guy who is transferred from modern Moscow to the fantasy world Belogorye. In this parallel universe where characters of Russian fairy tales live, magic is an integral part of the daily life, and arguments are settled with the help of sword fight.

Dyachenko himself is an award-winner with at least ten film credits to his resumè, and The Last Knight looks to add another notch to his belt. And quite a watchable feat at that with some strong and sharply constructed visuals to platform the action, adventure and comedic antics we're offered in this newest contemporary nod to Russian folklore.
