A WRINKLE IN TIME Presents An Epic First Trailer For Ava DuVernay's New Sci-Fi Fantasy Adventure

Ava DuVernay's forthcoming novel adaptation, A Wrinkle In Time, is opening next year in March from Walt Disney Pictures. I didn't pay any mind to this at first but this looks actually like a pleasant thrillride for the family adventure crowd and I'm pretty happy to see this director sticking around.

The film is based on Madeleine L’Engle’s classic book which sees a young girl who sets out to rescue her father. The story reportedly stretches across dimensions of time and space and dimensions of darkness and light and ultimately...well, other things beyond my instinctive understanding since I haven't read the book myself but all I know is that this one deserves some support when it hits theaters.

DuVernay directs from a screenplay by Jennifer Lee and stars Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Michael Peňa, Levi Miller, Deric McCabe, André Holland, Rowan Blanchard with Zach Galifianakis and Chris Pine and introduces Storm Reid.
