Sofia Boutella Is In Talks For Residency In Futuristic Actioner, HOTEL ARTEMIS

Cannes is only three weeks away from when Lionsgate will introduce its goods to buyers, which will also include Iron Man 3 scribe Drew Pearce's debut directorial offering, Hotel Artemis. The film has Pearce directing from his own script with actress Jodie Foster leading the film set in a futuristic Los Angeles where the head nurse of a secret medical facility for elite criminals which comes under attack.

Thus, given the latest report from Variety, it's not yet clear where actress Sofia Boutella could fit into all this but the word now is that she is in talks for a role of her own joining foster and actor Dave Bautista. Boutella's running high from a terrific line of credits including Kingsman: The Secret Service and Star Trek: Beyond, has an eventful summer heading in her direction with Alex Kurtzman's The Mummy on June 9, and David Leitch's Atomic Blonde on July 28.

Marc Platt (La La Land) is producing Hotel Artemis with Adam Siegel and The Ink Factory's own Simon Cornwell and Stephen Cornwell.
