Vidyut Jammwal Is Blinded By Money In The First Teaser Artwork For COMMANDO 2
Dilip Ghosh's 2013 actioner, Commando: A One Man Army, was a rousing affair, notably for its nostalgic title which all but further helped solidify Hindi actor and martial artist Vidyut Jammwal in the eyes of moviegoers. Interestingly it wasn't long before a sequel was greenlit and it was anyone's guess who would join in apart from actress Adah Sharma, and the current crop now wrangled together debut helmer Deven Bhojani for the upcoming release of Commando 2 on March 3.
Wherein the first film saw our hero embroiled in political conspiracy and on the run in a story leading up to the confrontation of a powerful criminal in relentless pursuit of his financé desperate to flee him, our hero returns to the fray using his deadly skillset and fighting prowess to take on the auspices of an illegal dark money ring stretching out to banks abroad. Hence, the first teaser poster arrived this week ahead of the film's release and any teaser and trailer footage that may come about. Check it out below!
The Greg and Colin Strause-directed, independent 2010 critical sci-fi flop, Skyline, left a huge enough dent in box office earnings to warrant some wiggle room for a sequel. Enter Liam O'Donnell, having worked his way up from VFX work on several projects, as well as co-scripting and producing the first film and now sets his sights with a sequel as his directorial debut in Beyond Skyline - a film that by some accounts probably wasn't expected to happen or even supposed to. It had been four years since the first film and so no one would see an announcement up until 2014, surprising everyone curious and keen, and not for nothing either. The added touch of throwing in people like Iko Uwais and Yayan Ruhian would certainly pepper the hype up to a certain degree for fans fond of their work on Merantau, The Raid and it's sequel; The mere thought of seeing the two for nothing short of an eyeblink in 2015's Star Wars: The Force Awakens would be enough to ensue an outcry a year l…
Chances are if you've attended any film festival events in Canada or New York City in the past month or so, you might have spied an eye on James Mark's directorial debut, Kill Order which rolls out on February 6, 2018. The film, currently one of our Five-A-Day entries for 2018, has had a lengthy road to its existence of late and now bears the fruits of several noteworthy reviews circulating online including our own in hailing Mark's milestone achievement thusfar with brother, actor and stuntman Chris Mark also making his debut in a starring vehicle. Chaos erupts when a group of armed men break into a high school classroom. They target David, a quiet kid who secretly suffers from unexplained memories of a horrifying past. Tapping into a previously unknown strength, David fights off his attackers and goes on the run. With his life and the lives of his loved ones in jeopardy, David must master the use of his new superhuman strength and fighting skills to find the people respo…
An exasperating wait, no less, for folks like myself who live in the U.S.. Still, it's nice to know that a Blu-Ray/Digital HD release of the new tournament martial arts thriller, Boyka: Undisputed, is well on its way with an August release, while it's even nicer to know that the film's star, actor and martial artist Scott Adkins wants to do a fifth.
He says so at around the 11:40 mark in his latest interview now online following his recent appearance at MCM Expo in London this week to discuss the role and the film as a whole - And not for nothing either as he continues to pound away at fans who enjoy his movies, but insist on stealing them online which will otherwise kill any chance of the film happening before 2030 if we're lucky (my words, not his).
Adkins also shares several new images from his latest, Accident Man, and some gems on Michael Cuesta's American Assassin, working with Tony Jaa on the recently-wrapped ensemble action thriller, Triple Threat, and muc…
