[UPDATED] JEAN-CLAUDE VAN JOHNSON Is Just Getting His Day Started In The New Amazon Prime Teaser

So, it's another morning and you're Jean-Claude Van Damme, waking up to start you're day. What do you do? Well, such is the question our lead character answers on his way to pick up the morning paper and toast some pop tarts in his pajamas as a private contractor working undercover as his alter-ego in the new teaser for Jean-Claude Van Johnson, which also stars Kat Foster, Phylicia Rashad and Moises Arias.

SYNOPSIS:
Jean-Claude Van Damme comes out of retirement to put on once again the mantle of his alter-ego, undercover private contractor Jean-Claude Van Johnson. “Johnson’s” cover as the lead role in a re-imagined action film version of “Huckleberry Finn” lands him right back in the midst of the danger he secretly always craves–but most importantly, back in the orbit of Vanessa, his fellow operative and the woman he loves?
Depending on your tastes, it may not be what you're normally used to seeing in any teaser for a Van Damme project. Then again, the action star has been rebranding himself quite a bit since 2009 with a different touch to his craft; He's honing in his acting way more and it has made him truly prolific, and clearly so in the digital age enough for a pilot order like this.

Jean-Claude Van Johnson airs on August 19, executive produced by Ridley Scott, David W. Zucker, series writer Dave Callaham and director Peter Atencio.

This post is actually an update two days since the teaser was leaked and subsequently pulled. Amazon officially decided to air the pilot teaser on Thursday with no new footage, which does nothing for those who caught it earlier this week. However, if you're new to it, you can check it out below right now. And by all means, give Van Johnson a minute... It's (still) early.
