KINGSGLAIVE: FINAL FANTASY XV Gets A Brand New Trailer And Featurette

Amid all the allure and excitement this week at E3, fans got another glimpse at Nozue Takeshi's forthcoming film, Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV. The latest trailer is now online following a first look back in March, along with an E3 featurette just beneath.

The magical kingdom of Lucis is home to the world’s last remaining Crystal, and the menacing empire of Niflheim is determined to steal it. King Regis of Lucis commands an elite force of soldiers called the Kingsglaive. Wielding their king’s magic, they fight to protect Lucis. As the overwhelming military might of the empire bears down, King Regis is faced with an impossible ultimatum – to marry his son, Prince Noctis to Princess Lunafreya of Tenebrae, captive of Niflheim, and surrender his lands to Niflheim rule. Although the king concedes, it becomes clear that the empire will stop at nothing to achieve their devious goals, with only the Kingsglaive standing between them and world domination.

This latest update is a little opportune for me in that I'm now preparing an interview with someone who worked partially on this film. He's a cinematographer and up-and-coming action director who cut his teeth doing what he does for the online niche and you'll learn who that is soon enough - though the only hint I will give you is that I've shared his work before via the weekly Hit List which I publish every Monday night. Good luck sifting and figuring that one out!

For now, watch the videos below and make note of the August 19 limited U.S. release of the film as indicated by the poster.
