Adkins, Barrett & Nunn Wrap ELIMINATORS For WWE/Tea Shop & Film

Director James Nunn's MMA fight drama, Green Street Hooligans: Underground, was my first foray into his work, and gladly it was a delightful debut at that. With that in mind, Nunn is back at it once again with martial arts star Scott Adkins for the new international action thriller, Eliminators, following the announcement back in April from WWE Studios and Tea Shop & Film Company, and short bursts of pics flowing through social media in the last few months with wrestler-turned-actor Wade Barrett also starring.

Further casting info will go viral in due time but the best of all is to see fight choreographer and action actor Tim Man involved as well - icing on the cake after wrapping Undisputed IV with helmer Isaac Florentine over the summer, thus promising a good year in 2016 with quite a few Adkins-starrers slated for release. For now though, we can take note of the latest tweet from Nunn below announcing the completion of Eliminators as the process moves forward.
SYNOPSIS:
A former US Federal Agent must abandon the witness protection program and come out of hiding when his London home is invaded in error due to a wrong address. When the event ends with multiple homicides, the news triggers those hunting him to send Europe’s most dangerous assassin to kill him. Now on the run with his daughters life in jeopardy, a determined father must get her to safety before the people he’s been hiding from tracks him down.

Fans looking forward to an early Adkins-fix can catch him co-starring in the theatrical and digital release of zombie actioner, Re-Kill as per After Dark Films event release, 8 Films To Die For on October 16. Stay tuned for more details!

*A previous version of this article listed Richwater Films in place of Tea Shop & Film Company.
