There's no question that there will be plenty of more layers to the multi-branched Marvel saga of films leading up to the remainder of the third and final phase of the MCU. In the meantime, we have at least one of those layers slated to peel back on May 6, 2016 for the release of Captain America: Civil War as the good guys and gals defenfing humanity turn on each other, adding to the threat level from all sides.

Captain America: Civil War plot picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.
Screencrush reports Marvel Studios co-president Louis D’Esposito announced the film's completion of principal filming which took place at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta, followed by locations in Berlin and in Puerto Rico. Helmers Anthony and Joe Russo sit in once more as the masterminds behind remainder of what lies ahead from or the Avengers: Infinity Wars films, as actors Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. take the lead as dueling heroes Captain America and Iron Man.

Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Emily VanCamp and Frank Grillo also return with Chadwick Boseman and Tom Holland debuting respectively as Black Panther and the latest attempt to reintroduce Spider-Man. Actor Daniel Bruhl rounds out the ensemble cast as Baron Zemo, with The Hobbit star Martin Freeman also starring in an undisclosed role.

A teaser debuted at D23 in Anaheim earlier this month, but there's no telling when or if it will be released online. Moreover, as usual, I won't go through the trouble of tracking down a leaked version of it since I'm more bound to find more fake ones anyway, and in the event that I do find it, there's a good chance it will be removed. Alas, we wait!
