MTV: Diesel, Brewster Pay Tribute To FAST 7 Late Actor Paul Walker

L to R: Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson and Vin Diesel stand tall on the set of Fast And Furious 7.

Five months well into the aftermath of grievance and healing over the death of actor Paul Walker, production on director James Wan's newest film, Fast And Furious 7 is currently filming in the Middle East with its cast and crew. With this in mind, it will be very interesting to see how big the production is going to be, given that lead actor Vin Diesel so states this particular production in the Fast And Furious saga will be its biggest film yet. And by all means, after the awesome delivery of Fast And Furious 6, and particularly since Diesel nearly concussed himself while shooting the film's biggest fight scene with actor Jason Statham, I am taking him very seriously.

Clearly, yes, Diesel and the cast are putting their whole heart and soul into what remains of this lovely franchise that has bloomed into a major, long-standing milestone action saga about gearheads, crime, intriguing romance, loyalty, family, vengeance and honor. Ultimately though, with the passion driven by this franchise comes the pain of dealing with the loss of one of its most prominent cast members, and more than likely, this production is very much a vessel to help heal and deal with that pain that is still so difficult for a LOT of people to bare, including Diesel who took to his Facebook page this week to accept a posthumous MTV Golden popcorn award for best on-screen duo for their performance in Fast And Furious 6. Furthermore, franchise co-star and actress Jordana Brewster took to the stage during the 2014 MTV movie awards to host a brief, heartfelt tribute to Walker, narrated by Diesel. You can watch both videos below.

Fast And Furious 6 is now available wherever movies are sold, with a portion of the proceeds from the Walker's films (including next week's release of director Camille Delamarre's Brick Mansions) going directly to his charity, Reach Out Worldwide (ROWW). Walker will reportedly return to star in Fast And Furious 7, along with the foundation of up to four doubles to help complete his remaining scenes, embodying Walker's spiritual, lively big-screen finale.

The film will open on April 10, 2015, courtesy of Universal Pictures.
