Liyana Yus Takes Center Stage In The New Teaser For Silat Action Drama, YASMINE!

Origin Films spent four years with the intent of making history at home in the sovereign state of Brunei with the production its new Silat martial arts drama, Yasmine.

With the aforementioned Indonesian martial art style having gloriously been put on the map thanks to the recent successes of films such as Merantau and The Raid films, Yasmine is looking to further enhance its own potential, hosting its coming-of-age tale of action and storytelling with a promising young lead actress in the form of newcomer Liyana Yus, with the attachment of none other than former Jackie Chan Stunt Team member Chan Man Ching. As such, after previously releasing a teaser poster last year, director Siti Kamaluddin has unveiled a brand new campaign this month to promote the film's forthcoming domestic release. And as the film marks one of Brunei's first-ever commercialized film projects in up to half a century, the new teaser is doing a heck of an impressive job!
