Exxodus Pictures Gives JINN Director A Hometown Screening!

Michigan-based independent production company Exxodus Pictures began promoting its latest fantasy action thriller, Jinn, just last month after years of keeping fans waiting. The film is currently geared for its April 4, 2014 release, it also turns out the company will be hosting a ticketed red carpet event in advance which will also be accompanied by Michigan native, filmmaker Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad.

Jinn is a film centered on a spectacular story based on spiritual beings in Islam and Arabic culture, with performances by Ray Park and Dominic Rains. Tickets are now on-sale HERE, with more details about the event in the memo below:
The North American Premiere of the movie Jinn will be hosted at the prestigious Detroit Institute of Arts on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 - Featuring Red Carpet interviews with the film’s cast, director and producers, followed by an exclusive film screening, Q&A, and a private after party. For more information about the movie, including official trailers please visit www.JinntheMovie.com.
Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad, the film’s director and a metro-Detroit native, chose the place he calls home as the location for the premiere. He believes in the future of Detroit, Michigan as a place for the movie industry to flourish and the opportunities for employment it provides to Michiganders. Exxodus Pictures shot Jinn entirely on location in Michigan, in many less-commonly seen places in Ann Arbor, Dearborn, Monroe, Port Austin (the “thumbnail” of the state), Bloomfield Hills and even in Detroit’s old Model T plant.
Proceeds benefit the Detroit-based DIA, HUDA Clinic, & Motor City Blight Busters.
